Join the ISYSA to watch “These Shining Lives” Sunday, 17 February 2019 from 14:00-17:00 at the MAC, eastbound theatre, 40 Railroad Avenue South Milford CT 06460
These Shining Lives is a play based on the true story of four women who worked in a watch factory in Ottawa, Illinois. The job was painting the hour markings onto different sized watch dials using a radium compound. The play dramatizes the danger women faced in the workforce in the 1920s, and the lack of concern by companies for protecting the health of its employees.

We will meet at the Union Station of New Haven at 1 pm, and leave with the 1:25 pm train to Milford.
